In my experience, other countries have better candy. For example, American chocolate is no where near as good as the stuff in Italy.

Why, why, why?

Well, at least we have it food-wise over the British and Germans.

Japanese coffee puts ours to shame. Italy, all as previously noted. French Cheese. French and Italian desserts and sweets generally whup ours.

But back to the candy thing -- are we talking grocery-store or 'mass gourmet'? Because Israeli normal commercial chocolate is pretty darn good, better than ours, and their readily available gourmet chocolate is superb.

Japanese candy... well, it sucks, pretty much. We're definitely better than Japanese. It's been 20 years since I was in China, but (with the exception of old Hong Kong) my memory of their desserts and sweets and candy was not positive.

Hersey's Special Dark is pretty good, IMO. I like it better than some of the other, "gormet" chocolates.

What the heck is chick-O-stick anyway? I just got one. It says, "Crunchy Peanut Butter and Toasted Coconut Candy."

What an odd color of orange. Somehow I cannot stop eating it although it really isn't very good.

I would eat Chick-O-Sticks more if you didn't have to brush your teeth twice afterwards.

Chocolate in Brazil is much better than anything here in the states, IMO. But the ice cream (the real stuff, no Italian ice imitation garbage ;) ) is much better here than there (the consistency of Crisco, generally, or at least that's what it feels like going down... Ki-Bon).

remove the American Flag from your avatar if you are going to be so unpatriotic.

It you love Italy so much, why don't you move there?
