Apparently, Oden was still living it up after the ESPYs.

I think this team should really go small, play pressure defense and spread the floor with shooters. My starting lineup would be:

Kidd
Redd
Kobe
LeBron
Stoudemire.

My bench would be:
Billups
Battier
Williams
Howard
Bosh
Carmelo
Prince

You've got three legit, mobile bigs, plus guys like Battier, James and Prince who can go against some of the more perimiter oriented power forwards in Europe. You have established role players, finishers, defenders, shooters and play makers. If a point gets hurt, you still have two more, plus Billups can play the 2 if need be.

I'd certainly like to see Miller available. He's a very good outside shooter and is probably better than anyone else on the bench shooting the three.

^ Good point. Last summer, we couldn't shoot to save our lives.

I think we'll benefit greatly from having Kobe, Redd, Miller.

Good to see Kidd lead the charge instead of Paul.

Chris Paul is damn good imo. Kind of sad he's not on the team this Summer.

After the fiasco in 2004, this is being treated like 1992 when it was about putting the best team on the floor. Of course that team was one of the greatest collections of players to every be on the same team in history.

I would rather play Deron Williams than either Paul or Jason Kidd. Just my opinion. He could be our PG for the next 12 years in international play, and I believe he is more talented than Paul. Again, just my opinion - but he is a winner.

I'm the same guy that wants to make a trade for him - at almost any cost (Amare and Nash excluded). I would make a play for him as a Free agent, but I think Utah will most likely never let him walk. Utah is going to be even better next year, if AK47 can get back to 'all-defense' level, and they pick up someone to replace Derek Fischer. As far as 1-2 punches, Williams and Boozer are a nice combo.

CRAP... the West is just loaded.
