Pete Carroll also didn't do a very good job selling himself to get a third stint in the NFL after this one. He was completely outcoached and the team showed a lack of discipline.

Some incredible stories today... UCLA beating USC is unbelievable! I LOVE it!!!
But, Wake Forrest is another incredible story... What a great day for College Football...
And should Florida go on to beat Arkansas (they're up 17-7 at the half), what will the BCS do then?? Hmmmmm....

Get a friggin playoff system developed already, and we won't have these issues!!!!

Totally agree... Although I am not at all comfortable with Carr in Bowl games, MICH has the type of talent and speed to dominate USC... If Carr can actually get his team prepped to play in a Bowl game, this could very easily be a lopsided win for MICH...

Big 10 teams perform notoriously poorly in Bowl games. I suspect it reflects on their over rating. Big 10 speed, or lack of speed, does not bode well against other styles. They can pound you with the ball, but can't seem to keep up defensively with other teams speed.

Generally you are right... However, Mich does possess far above-average BIG 10 speed, both on offense and defense...
I think given the huge disappointment in losing to UCLA, all of the talk about Pete Caroll going to the NFL - this game is the perfect set-up for MICH to roll over USC...
