Marvin Lewis is a 4-3 guy.
Who coached one of the nastiest and greatest defenses of all time. I would actually rank the 2000 Ravens defense on par with the '85 Bears who some consider the greatest single season defense of all time. Unlike the Bears the Ravens defense didn't give up a single point in the Super Bowl. The Giants' points came on a kickoff return.

Kent Somers is reporting the Joe Woods (Broncos' DC past two years) was with Joseph in Phoenix yesterday so it may be a package deal. We're also getting Billy freakin' Davis back as LB coach (was with Ohio State past two years so will know Bosa).

Looks like Joe Woods has DB coaching background. That would make sense.

So far...KK and Keim are doing very well with staff.

I cannot agree with that claim.

BUT, that being said, I do like Vance Joseph and signing him. I like how he runs his defense, he has made chicken salad out of chick poop with ILBers.

Kind of like how Keim gets players money with 1 year contracts, he does that for inside linebackers.

If he has ANY influence on players and personnel the Cardinals may.........*gasp* draft an inside linebacker (like an actual ILB that played the position in college), or maybe even sign a UDFA that has some credible talent.

It is not all barren on ILB front. Bynes and D-Buc returning to action should make the position serviceable. Definitely need to add through draft or FA to make it formidable.

Wait a minute. IIRC Broncos fired their HC who was a defensive specialist and replaced him with a rookie (Vic Fangio) HC who is a defensive specialist? ;)

Bucannon is now a free agent, there is no assurance he is coming back.

We have Reddick and Bynes. That is potential, no doubt. I am just stating it would be nice to see the organization.....you know, DRAFT an ILBer.

Elway is horrible. Defense wasn't the problem in Denver. Elway has destroyed that team

Got to be kidding me . Sarkisian and Joseph. One is an often time failed basket case and the other a well documented bust as a NFL head coach. 1 year DC at Miami finished 18th. So a rookie head coach,an offensive coordinator with alcohol and drug history, and and a DC who lacks the track record to carry the load on the defensive side. And we thought things couldn't get worse.

How much of Denver failing was Vance's fault though? I mean he had the likes of Trevor Semien, Paxton Lynch, Chad Kelly and Case Keenum quarterbacking
