I guess someone had to make one.
The pressing questions are;
Could today's actions even be reversed if Keebali wanted to?
Could we actually start over, using Shane's plan, or some incarnation? Would Keebali do that? It seems like a it would entail lot of work on their part.

I have a feeling we are stuck with what it is.

I think that not only should we be starting over, (Should be called DCR's plan, not Shane's ) but we should also set a limit as to how much you can bet per transaction until the bug is fixed within the vBookie code.

Personally I don't see the thrill in wagering just to get back to amounts previously obtained. There are some things in life I don't mind doing over and over but achieving $ 1 quadrillion again in vBookie isn't one of them.

I am going to say start over and set some sort of limit/guidelines on bets so the numbers don't get so absurd again...

IMO, that is the only logical way to remedy the situation..

I lost 125 Trillion and I'm willing to go from here.I've already started to give to others.I gave one million to panther who must not even know it.Not that I need to be thanked.I like the guy.He was complaining as all with 50 are.We just need to give those with 50 more money to start with.

Its only fun when you can make bets that will actually make your money grown where you can see it.

Once the big guns like Mulli,O,Shane etc...get back rolling they can spread the wealth as I promise to do also if I ever get near thier totals.

Of course the majority with 50 are gonna say start over.That almost makes a poll worthless.We all ready know what anyone with 50 would say.

I see some who are picking all upsets it seems or have no clue what they are doing,yet are complaining they have 50 bucks.Look at some of the placements on the bucs,chiefs and a couple others this week that have'nt a shot.Yet those are the biggest complainers.Its gonna take more than luck for those 2 teams.Plus a few others bet on below.

I would hate starting over.

IMO, that is the only logical way to remedy the situation..

The easy fix would have been for Shane and Diehard, etc to just create wagers and use them as a savings plan. If they ever needed money they could settle or abandon whatever they set up.

Problem solved.

It didn't need to affect EVERYONE.



It should be restored.

It has had to come up at some other time on some other board. There must be a vbookie fix somewhere, or a way to fix the savings portion of it which would also eliminate the problem. Wiping out everyone's bank is not the answer and never should have been done without notice or approval.

When I saw I had 90 mill, I wanted to get in on the World Series bet, I normally laid 10% on every bet I made so I went all in thinking, "this will be fixed later, some decimals just got messed up".

Well, fewer than 3 homers were hit and here I sit, broke, except for the 1.2 million O donated me.

I was on a roll and having fun and now it isn't the same. I'll never get into the top 10 again, I just have way too much hill to climb...and that's fine with me, I am in the top 5 of money won for a little while, that means I was making decent bets. Towards the end there were a lot of people with trillions of dollars that weren't earned but donated anyway.

I really do think the powers that be should have said they were going to adjust the money, that was pretty lame, almost as bad as my wife deciding to replace blonde highlights with purple highlights without telling me.

I voted to start over, but in all honesty, I don't care what happens, I'll bet regardless because it makes games more fun and I am a sucker.

I am a vBookie junkie regardless of what happens, so screw it, I'm gonna have a beer and read the other new posts on the site.

I think I pretty much agree with BIM on this whole fiasco which is ironic because we are both named Brian and we both live in Mesa......imagine that!!

Limiting the amount that you can bet must be done at an adminstrator level and was voted against when we initially started. I think the thought should be resurfaced.

Limiting bets is not the answer.
I limited the anount I bet as I got closer to a quadrillion so I wouldn't go over,
Restricting how much one bets should be on the bettor only. You have just as much of a chance to lose as you do to win.

Speaking of discussions.
What, if anything, has been done behind the scenes regarding this matter by the powers that be?
I contacted Keebali, via the contact us button, right after this happened and it's been nothing but crickets.

What they did without warning or notification was unwarranted, IMHO.
