Arizona State will take on Wisconsin in Las Vegas Bowl

The Sun Devils (8-4), who finished second in the Pac-12 South, have played in bowl games in three of four years of the Edwards tenure.

Wisconsin is 8-4, pretty tough team.

Wisconsin allowed just 16.42 points per game through 12 contests including 10 or fewer five times.

The Badgers run the ball effectively as well, gaining 215.4 yards per week on nearly five yards per carry.

This will be ASU’s second trip to the Las Vegas Bowl in four years.

The Sun Devils fell to Fresno State 31-20 in 2018.

Will be happy if this game is even competitive. Rooting for the devils of course, but putting all of my money on the Badgers. Strength of schedule and talent is a huge disparity, but maybe Herm and the team can pull something out of the hat.

Wisconsin has a couple injuries but doesn’t sound like they have any opt outs (according to WI beat writer on Speak off the Devils podcast). Unclear if Covid will be an issue for them.

Basically, an ASU team with multiple transfers/opt outs will be facing a full strength Badger team.
