Utter garbage article, but it's not just a Cards phenomenon, it's an NFL-wide policy of controlling the information. Hence the restriction of local TV stations' cameras on the sideline.

That's why the Cards now publish news on their web site hours before they send it to us and other media. They want everybody to go to their web site for everything Cardinals.

As we all know the the article was written by a Cardinals PR guy. You and many more fans think the article was total bull. What would you expect from an organziations PR department. Whether it be the Cardinals or anyone else. There job (duh) is to put a postive spin on what they can. There are plenty of deadbeat "beat" reporters and columnists who know a whole lot less than you do that will write as much negative poop and is swings totally to the other end of the continuum.

No. Even the negative articles are usually very mild as nobody really wants to get on the bad side of King football or the league restricts access to such an extent that there can't be any other kind of writing other than the rehashing of old stories like we see so often from the National Media when they write about the Cards. I like to call it the NFLs policy of Omerta.

It would be really cool if the NFL were subjected to the kind of in depth investigative reporting other big businesses and especially governments are.
