Yes, but he would thrive here...It just makes no sense to me why Cards are so against him...he has never had the offensive tools this team has (save for Brian Westbrook)...

We have never had a talent like Westbrook either. His last couple of years he had Macklin and Jackson and that's a very good set of WR's.

I live in the Philly area and see a good number of Eagles games. McNabb does just what you saw him do in the NFC title game against us. Make some great plays and throws but also goes all DA at times and kills worms. It's why some refer to him as a choker. I don't agree with that label but it's not completely inaccurate.

McNabb just isn't the type of leader that Whiz wants IMO. He jokes around too much and is more liked then respected by his teammates. He doesn't command the same respect as a Manning or Brady or Warner etc. This is of course just some tea leaf reading by myself.

McNabb doesn't fit this offense, you saw how he struggled trying to learn a new offense last year in Washington, it'd be more of the same here.

Palmer is my #1 choice, for all this talk about how he wasn't the same after the injury he still completed over 60% had QB ratings over 82 and threw more TDs than INTs.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora "handicaps" the Seahawks as the favorites to trade for Kevin Kolb after the draft.

La Canfora has the Dolphins right behind Seattle. We wouldn't rule out the Cardinals, either. CSN Philly reported a month ago that Arizona had shown the most interest to date, and GM Rod Graves has promised to aggressively address the position once the labor situation is settled. For Larry Fitzgerald's sake, we hope Marc Bulger is no more than a fallback option. Bulger would be an awfully poor bet for effectiveness, let alone to stay healthy.

ESPN's Trent Dilfer stated emphatically Saturday that free agent Matt Hasselbeck will not re-sign with the Seahawks.

Dilfer works with Matt's brother, Tim Hasselbeck. The younger Hasselbeck has hinted several times that Matt wants to be paid more than Kerry Collins' $7 million per over the past couple of years.

I voted "other". Sage Rosenfels is my off the radar pick that everyone here will hate and that would never actually happen but should.

He wouldn't cost the Cardinals anything to acquire. His contract wouldn't be high. He's prime age for a QB at 33. Not too young, not too old. He's got size at 6'4", 222. Has some athleticism. ACCURACY. Isn't pigeon-holed into one type of system. Has experience with potential upside. Plus, I think he's hungry to prove himself and is the type of guy that Whis would like.

After being traded from Minnesota to NYG:

“I’ve always felt frustration is a self-inflicted wound,” Rosenfels said. “I think a player chooses to be frustrated. Obviously, situations can cause that, but at the end of the day, a player chooses to be frustrated or motivated. When I’ve gotten in a tough situation, I decide to motivate myself, prove myself and get better for the next situation.”

I like Kolb only because he has upside. Palmer has not been the same player since the injury and I don't think he ever will be.

Not that we sign the checks, but nice to see from my point of view that Kolb is getting the"love" he should. Too many reasons not to think he is the answer to our problems. If he was good enough for Reid and for Iggles to get rid of Donovan, even if a person didn't know too much, that should be enough of an endorsement. If he does not get hurt, we would have nothing to talk about...cause this F/O would NEVER have dreamed about going for Michael Vick....the braintrust around the Iggle organization know QB's and how to develop them.

I accidentally chose Alex Smith. He's my second choice. Gimme a rejuvenated and motivated post-Cincy Palmer for 3-5 more good years while Skelton develops and we can assess his future more reasonably. Save that, Ill take a HUGELY motivated Alex Smith to put it right up SF's keister. Its all a crap shoot, but if IM taking a questionable intra-divisional castoff, I like Smith and his knowledge of the Niners over Hasselback.

Have to spend too much on Kolb.
Palmer will cost too
Orton won't be available
Dont like Hasselbeck
Bulger is spoken of highly by players all around and he will come cheaply. I am Ok with him. Palmer would be a close second choice. I would probably be happy with any of them.
