Reports in Dallas are that Vick attended a strip club the night he got out of jail with Allen Iverson. This could have a dramatic affect of him being reinstated. I know its not against the law, but its all about the timing of him soon to be meeting with Commissioner Goodell. Not good!!! If he is lucky enough to return I guess he can now run the "stripcat" offense.

Agreed. Strip clubs are perfectly legal and he shouldn't be punished for being at one. He isn't Pacman Jones.

All this means is that he's probably moving to Tight End instead of Wide Receiver from his normal QB spot.

There is nothing wrong with going to a strip club and should have no effect whether he gets reinstated or not.

Would be fricking hilarious if they caught him at a ****-fighting event.

Vick was later heard mumbling.. "WTF, you can't even have chicken fights?" :D

Omg. A stripclub? This sickens me. Throw his ass back in prison. Can you believe this guy? He's supposed to be a role model for kids.

Sheesh, this is news? If you kicked out every pro who ever went to a strip club, you would loose about 60% of your athletes. And that includes women athletes.;)

Is this sarcastic? If Vick is a role model to anyone's kids at this time I would be questioning the parents

Going to a strip club might be legal but for a guy who is trying to get back into the NFL, it might not be very smart.

LINK

According to a source close to Vick, the former Falcons quarterback is hoping to receive no additional punishment. A four-game suspension would likely inhibit his ability to catch on with an NFL team. No teams have expressed interest in bringing Vick in for a tryout as of yet.
As part of the deal, Goodell is reserving judgement in the event of any further transgressions from Vick.

If it is true Vick was at a strip club, I sure it would not look good to the commissioner or teams looking at him.

Portland Oregon these days.
Don Banks wrote a recent article about Vick -- and how he wasn't exactly setting the NFL on fire before he got in trouble. He was 20th in the league of Quarterback stats, had a lot of fumbles, even being called a 'coach killer' (remember Jim Mora).

I just wonder if he's not a bit like Pacman -- all this fuss, but not worth the effort.

This has been emphatically denied by Vick and his representatives.

With the media the way it is and accepting any story anymore, its hard to know if its true or not.

I would hope he wouldn't be stupid enough to do this though, since right now he needs to manage the perception about him - he has to be an absolute saint to even have a shot at getting back into people's good graces.

I agree too that its not a big deal or bad to go to strip clubs - for most people. But keep in mind that this guy's reputation is destroyed right now and he's trying to convince the commish he's a changed man - I don't think going into a place like this will help him - not because going to strip clubs in itself is a problem, but moreso due to the recent problems the NFL has had as a result of players there - think Adam Jones, the guy from Denver who was shot and killed, etc.

The league is all about perception, about reputation, etc.

Hopefully, Vick wouldn't be dumb enough to actually do this.

The source that tipped people off was supposedly the club manager
