McLemore and Foye have nothing in common.

I'd be surprised if McLemore doesn't get at least to the kind of level Klay Thompson is at right now. He should cleary be a worst case 15-16ppg scorer.

At worst you should get a terrific shooter.

For some reason Suns fans have a sick infatuation with anyone labeled a defender now. Truth is championship teams because they are at least average on offense and defense. You don't just win by defense.

What happened to the last undersized defensive SG Suns fans were clamoring for? Avery Bradley? Thank god we did not give up any of our big assets for that guy.

McLemore has deficiencies in isolation plays and creating off the dribble but same could be said of Ray Allen after his freshman year. McLemore has physically at least as good tools as Oladipo.

You can learn and train to play hard which is what sets Oladipo apart, but Oladipo won't suddenly become the gifted offensive player that McLemore is. Oladi shot over 60% for a reason in college. He was a complimentary player on a great team that was finely tuned and gave him easy shots.

Can Oladipo take over games? McLemore gets bashed for this but at least he overtook games sometimes, Oladipo can't really.

I'll be extremely disapointed if we draft at #4 and take Oladipo, even if McLemore goes at #2 or #3 we should trade up then. McLemore's skillset as a shooter would compliment Dragic and a potential top pick like Wiggins, Parket etc next year well.

I just watched Olidipo's and McLemore's DX video scouting reports - twice each. Maybe DX is biased but they questioned Ben's ability to create his own shot, said he didn't shoot well off the dribble and had trouble getting all the way to rim in the half court - settling for contested floaters instead. He avoids contact and draws few fouls. His strong suit in the half court is shooting off screens - and ally-oops. Heck of a leaper though - that and his overall game reminded me of Shannon Brown. I realize something must be missing if he's in the running for the top spot in the draft - or this is one really pathetic draft.
Oladipo is limited in his ability to create his own shot, too, but he does go all the way to the rim and doesn't shy away from contact. And he's an excellent offensive rebounder - not bad at putting the ball back in the hoop once he gets it. One of the concerns about him is that his long range shooting was quite bad until this year, and his high percentage this year is based on only 35 shots. At this point you have to discount him as a three point threat - with a little plus for shot selection.
They didn't dwell on ball handling and passing but McLemore has the edge in both. Oladipo is the better cutter and I'd go so far as to say, you want to give him the ball after he's on the move as much as possible, preferably when he's headed toward the basket.
McLemore's strong suit is the open floor but so is Olidipo's and I'd say they were about a wash in that area.
Defensively, there's no comparison though they did say that Ben has defensive potential because of his reach and quickness... from what they showed its definitely unrealized potential. In my experience defensive potential of that kind is very rarely ever tapped.

Up until now I thought McLemore was the kind of player you couldn't pass on but I'd take Oladipo over him without hesitation at any draft slot.

McLemore's video is based on the first 9 games he played in college that is all.

Furthermore the videos are FAR from a complete overview.

Third Oladipo is a junior, McLemore is a freshman. McLemore was the main weapon of Kansas, Oladipo was a complimentary player in Indiana's offense taking easy shots.

McLemore draws more freethrows than Oladipo. Really McLemore is just a better prospect, does everything better than Oladipo offensively already and has better size.

He wore the new Google glasses at the draft to give the fans a look of what being in the NBA draft looks like, here it is for anyone interested

I know that we didn't even have the chance to draft him but man I wish Oladipo slipped to us. Kid seems like a real cool kid and a very good baller.

Of course Stern eventually send one of his goons to make him remove it lol.
