Oh, puleeze. He's just a mercenary (goon) who sells his services to the highest contender. On most of those teams, he was just a role player so he can't compare himself to Jordan.

He used to be a solid player, but his skills have faded fast. And now he has that label as a dirty player on him.

If given the opportunity tomorrow to win the game and shot the winning 3 vs the Hornets, watch him miss it...

i opened it and close it the instant i saw who it was, he disgust me. The only people who are going to keep adoring him would be loyal Laker/Horry fan and Spurms Fan.

Not exactly.

When Horry was a Laker, he was my favorite player in the NBA. Yes, I liked him more then Shaq or Kobe, I just totally dug Robert Horry. That shot he hit in the playoffs vs. Sacramento was one of the biggest moments in Laker history IMO. That being the case, when I see him on the court today, I get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach and I want to throw up. It's so sad that a guy who used to be so good is now nothing more then a pathetic, no shot hit man that just comes in to hard foul people. Comparing him to Jordan, Magic or Bird is just silly. Horry never took a team on his back and pulled them to titles the way those guys did. Horry was always a role player, he's not even in the same category as the guys he's compared to.

At one time, he was the best role player in the game. Now, he's nothing but a sack of crap. Just like Andrew said, if he gets a potential game winner on Monday, watch him brick the shot. His game is completely gone, it has been for a couple years.

Just like Bowen.

It seems the Spurs are full of the 'no shot-all foul' players. They come in and do the dirty work i.e. just foul and nothing else (and maybe sprain a few ankles here and there.)

NO! Good crunch time player. Far from the best role player in the game.

yeah, because horry has a history of missing big shots with the game on the line.

Horry showed his true colors when he was a member of the Suns for 1/2 a season.
Without a dominant big man in the lineup he refused to play like a guy his size should.
He's always been soft.
His lack of effort when he was on the Suns will never be forgotten by me.
