How long has it been since the Cards had so many highlights Jim couldn't get them all on one video?

I especially like the Spanish language calls on the returns. That guy gets into the game!

Should I even mention how conspicuously absent/edited out a certain player was from most of the highlight reel?

Well, as much support as the official site has given who I'm referencing, I wouldn't bet against seeing Randy Moss highlights first. I understand the lack of national attention but this really sucks. I didn't expect to see the Arizona Cardinals tribute to Kurt Warner but editing him out of all but one of the passing TD's that they showed? It seems blatant to me. They didn't edit Leinart out of the handoff to Edge for TD.

Ah, it's not for me. I enjoy the moments and the rides but don't look back. I have no tapes or cds ao dvds or anything from past games and years. The memories are sufficient.

These compilations don't interest me either. To each his own.

I'm the exact opposite. I have VHS tapes of games going back to the early '90s and I even have DVD highlights from Cardinals seasons in the 50's and 60's that I've purchased over the last couple of years. I love going back and watching the old stuff especially the 1998 highlights. Watching Aeneas Williams reaction to finally get to the post season is something I can watch over and over. Just like Vince Young's run for the final TD against USC.

But then I was going to be a track coach and teach history until I found out what teachers' salaries were.

Maybe I could get the Cards to hire me as team historian. :koolaid:

I'm with you Duckjake, I really enjoy watching some of the old stuff. Not so much 2007 stuff already but re-visiting it later is pretty fun. My dad recently gave me a bag full of VHS tapes that he'd had sitting around for a long time. Most of them were from when I was in high school in the late '80's. I still haven't gone through them all but I had a Rams/Dolphins game with Marino and a Rams/49ers game with Montana(as well as Rams players that only a Ram fan could love). So much of what these guys did in their careers is the stuff of legend now but it's cool to see how they "really" played. Not that they weren't good/great/legendary, but time has a way of making it seem like they threw a TD every time they dropped back.

Also, re-watching the games takes away the emotional attachment that goes with watching them live. I often catch a lot more the second time around as well as a shift in perception sometimes.

That is exactly why I like to record games on Sundays and watch them again a day or two later. Its just hard to concentrate on things like line play when you're hyped for the game and had a couple or several adult beverages.

I've never understood how some guys can watch a game live or during the regular broadcast and tell exactly what went on during each play just hours later. Of course a lot of what they say is proven to be wrong when I watch the tape but some fans are just really good at following the action live.

Let me just say that the claims that there is an agenda to leave certain players out of this video are simply absurd.

The objective for the video was to feature as many game changing, visually impactful, and crazy plays from each of the eight wins only. Moments of victory if you will.

For example, the Edge TD aginst Pittsburgh capped a 13 play, 82 yard, 4th quarter drive that ate up over 7:00 on the clock and ended up sealing arguably the biggest win of the season at that point. We showed it twice because the radio call says all you need to know about that drive. It was indeed a bludgeoning.

There were so many plays that we could have used from some of the losses, but we are under time constraints for our TV show and decided to stick with highlights from the wins.

Thank you.

That is what I thought. I saw no signs of an agenda. Guess you have to be looking for one in order to see it.
