I will do one game per day, and only one game per system for variety.

For the first game, I will go back to a favorite of mine..... EXCITEBIKE

This is definitely one of the top 10 games of the absolutely FANTASTIC NES library.

Who has ever played this game and not have fond memories?

I played this game every time I had dinner with my dad at Valle Luna at 35th Ave and Bell. They had this game, mario 1, and pacman.

This definitely brings back a lot of memories!

Such a great choice. I recall building my own track for hours and hours.

If anyone is intereted I can post the NES Emulator and the Excitebike rom.

I used to like building my own tracks.... my younger brother would build a track that would consist of 100 of those speed arrows and then the finish line :|

I think that track was my second favorite after about 50 of those little super-jump ramps. ;)

I used to put a bunch of speed arrows, and then the super jump ramps. Then try to get the next jump ramp in just the right place so you hit that right when you landed your bike, and so forth. Then the speed arrows again...

Making your own track was a genius move by the developers, since it gave the game a lot of replayability.
