JJ was insane tonight. I can't believe the Hawks got back in this series.

Biggest shock of the year, bar none. This was supposed to be 4 easy blow outs.

Thanks for posting. I like how the crowd is up in anticipation of a three after the Celtics guy falls down.
Streaky shooters can be a thing of beauty. If they catch fire, it's all over. Remember Q?

No doubt about it, JJ was an absolute stud. Scored every which way and never settled for the jumpshot against a tough defensive team. Props to him.

I want to see Celtic fans cry as often and as much as possible.

The Hawks are currently my second favorite team in the playoffs.

Is that really Boris Diaw? He doesn't look like a professional athlet. Neither does he look like 6'9 (or the ladies are all 6'1).

This was the beginning of the fall of the suns, the loss of an all star 2 guard. Then sarver gave away KT +pics +JR and ousted BC. The front office is the most important part of an NBA organization and the suns management is the dregs, no successful track record at all. Its also the last thing to change, the coach and the players will be turned over first, just like in other companies across the country upper management is the last to fall.

You all must have forgot that JJ WANTED TO LEAVE!!! He wanted to go and BE THE MAN and he has done pretty well. Would I like to have JJ hell yeah I would like to have LBJ and Kobe too but thats not realistic. Geesh some fans just have trouble letting things go you can't have all the players you liked on your team deal with it, its called pro sports guys leave cause they want recognition or money either way it happens everyday.

I still don't entirely buy this excuse. If that was the case, then why would he have stayed for $50mil over 6 years the previous year?

that was only after management rebuffed him on his 50/6yr deal as I recall. thank you sarver, now you have diaw for the same contract terms.

Pretty sure I heard many times that they were gonna match but JJ had asked them not too he wanted to leave and be closer to home, to make that clearer he DID NOT WANT TO BE A PHOENIX SUN!!! He wanted to be the man on a team and now he is let it go people.

But both sides were only 5 million $ apart on a contract extension the previous summer.

the previous summer before he became a FA, JJ and his agent approached the suns mgmt about a 6/50 extension, they turned him down and treated him poorly, there was no matching involved he wasnt a FA at the time. When he became a FA and got the offer of 5/70(?) was when the matching came up. At that time the negotiations had becoem so acrymonious by that time he didnt want to be a sun. Treat your guys like crap, they dont want to play for you. JJ was sure worth the 6/50, he'd still be a sun now at 8M per and an all star. Sarver just pooched it my playing nasty with JJ and his agent. Sarver is still learning about such things and he cast out the C's a long time ago. Apparently he couldnt learn about the basketball business from BC or JC, how ironic.

I'm in shock.. Hawks get a HUGE win today and force game 7 in Boston this weekend.

Sunday, the Hakws will go for the biggest upset in NBA history.

While I don't expect Atlanta to pull off an upset, it still surprises me that they found a way to be competitive in this series. I honestly didn't think this series would go any further than Game 4, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Hawks are full of talented players..

ONLY if they had drafted Chris Paul or Deron Williams.... this team would be making noises... even more than they are currently making.

As I said then.... I don't care! Give the dude 70 million and let him spend some of it and he will become happy.

We were the victims of an ownership at the absolute wrong time. And it killed our legacy forever.

Yeah!!

I thought Boston would roll and be fresh for the Finals.

This changes everything. They will be tested by the Cavs if they win, and by Detroit as well. They will limp into the Finals IF they get there.

And honestly, while I'd love to have them face the Lakers for the title, almost as important as my team winning is the Celtics losing. This sets them up to be tired and vunerable.
