Is it really cockiness? The Cards don't exactly have a sterling record against the Vikes...home or away. Sure, their was the miracle Nate Poole catch, but other than that, I can only remember whippings they put on the Cards...including last years Jackson Is God performance.
All time record against the vikings is 9-10.

Another good one ;)

I'm not one to make brash decisions based upon one game but..

What do you think? Was it just a blunderous flukey road game? Or is what we saw tonight a revelation of the things to come for the '09 Vikings?

Sadly, after watching the domination of the Vikings, I don't think its Possible for us to win a superbowl this year..

(PS One has to wonder, is this the start of the Brett Favre landslide?)
Are the "locker-room schisms" a self-fulfilling prophecy that we all thought would occur at the beginning of the season, when, in fact, they are only now beginning to plant their seeds and disintegrate this team?)

One has to wonder, in fact my fear and anxiety got the best of me, and I began to wonder "Is Adrian Peterson already on the down slope of his career, is he doomed to quietly fade into mediocrity"? This is something that frightens and upsets me extremely.

Other Anxiety-based Questions:
Will we ever get elevated play from our secondary?

Will E.J. Be gone for the year?

Is our D-Line ONLY effective against NFC NORTH opponents? And merely average against everyone else?

Is Percy Harvin really our best offensive player? (I mean don't get me wrong hes an Animallic Beast and I love him, but...)

Do we not have the heart to fight through adversity, and rally for a comeback? (And I don't mean a miraculous flukey last second favre throw. I mean a methodical "Take care of business" Comeback)

HAVE AT IT!

I totally agree.Chucky gave it to him on a MNF game earlier this year. All 3 guys in the booth are clowns. You have to listen to CARDINAL guys calling the game or you'll blow your 64" HDTV UP.They are so thin now I'm afraid I'll bust em'.

Peyton should'nt have his team get behind so many times if he does'nt want to have to keep coming from behind to win. Is'nt it easier to get the lead and hold it? Whats funny in the NFL is that the second one is not as highly thought of as the first is.Makes no sense to me.

I don't see anyone beating the saints this year just yet.Although I do believe in any given Sunday. Its just gonna have to be a very good day vs a very bad day for the saints.GOD BLESS Those folks that went through Katrina and survived that nightmare and are back rooting for the saints again. They deserve a title for once.Don't want any voodoo priestess behind their victories though.

Brees and his coach Peyton are mentally locked up like Kurt Warner was with our offensive coordinator last year.We miss him no matter what anyone says. The chemistry we had with those two would have just grown and grown. Now we've gone in a totally different direction that is just a lil' too passive and reluctant to go for the big stuff, like we did last season more often if at all.WE play way too close to the vest and not to lose than to go out to dominate to win.Hope that changes starting Sunday NIGHT!!!

Well Ol' Buddy, you got your wish, and Whiz opened up the play book for this one. Kurt is up to his old stuff, and how about using Rolle in the Wildcat. The Vikes must still be trying to figure out where that came from. I love the way the team bought into and executed the game plans on offense, defense, and special teams tonight. This was a TOTAL TEAM VICTORY, GO CARDS !!!!!!!!!

Big BQ!
Go back to those boards now and that cockiness is replaced by a feeling of taking a Manny Pacquio barrage... or a KW Bill Davis Barrage!!

Those fans seemed more than decent in defeat and weren't overly cocky prior to the game either. In their game thread, I didn't hear one of their fans say anything negative about our play and many of them actually said they like the Cards and enjoy watching them play. If the Cards beat someone by 25pts one year, then got a QB whose 10X's better than the one they had in the previous game we would expect them to slaughter the team as well.
