Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson injured his left knee, and Christian Ponder suffered a concussion on back-to-back plays Saturday against the Washington Redskins. Peterson took a direct hit to the knee from Redskins safety DeJon Gomes on a 3-yard gain on the first offensive play of the second half.
