I'm not underating the vikes or overating the CARDINALS.I think we match up well against thier kinda injured pass D with Lil' Winfield just back with his foot and Sapp has'nt been playing that great.

If the vikes turn the ball over like AP is getting well known to do then we will have more oportunities for this game.I'm thinking Whiz will not start the game like he did last week with the dink and dunk to help Matt feel comfortable. We may go downtown to Fitzgerald to start the game.I don't see why not.

The saints got the db the vikes lost and he's having an all pro year in Nawlins'.I know who has been tested the most recently.I also know who has been playing nobodies at home also.I think that is a big key to this game.

The running stats for the vikes front 4 are not against the rb's the CARDINALS have played.Plus the packers o-line never let the only qb they've played to ever get going. Will our o-line protect Kurt and give him time? Thats the key to the game.I'm glad M.Gandy and his 70% play is sitting. It will be a bonus for us.

If the CARDINALS don't turn it over it may be that the vikes are playing catchup ball and I like the pass rush of Dockett against the vikes middle and forcing the old man out of his rocking chair he's been in for a few weeks back there.Could be interesting if the lil' guy gets any of his passes blocked by CC too.
I think the cards will have a chance to win this game because they have good players on both sides of the ball that can matcup with any team in the league WHEN THEY PLAY WELL. The vikes show up every week no matter who is on their schedule.

You are looking to far into this. Simply put the vikes are the best team in the NFC right now along with the saints. they can beat anyone in the league on any day. their stats aren't inflated. this has been a good team for a while(the cards found that out the hard way last year). now the vikes have something that they've been missing. That is a QB that can convert on 3rd down. Farve like the great QB's, can play with any WR. He doesn't need to have a fitzgerald to win a game. don't you find it ironic that his WR's are always among the elite in yardage? but this is the same vikes team as last year with some added explosion because they can kill you in the pass.

They beat the reigning NFC Champions.
You don't look at a single game to determine if a team is good, mediocre or poor. upsets happen all the time. They are struggling this year even though they are pretty much the same team as last year.

Yeah...you're right. I guess that my point is that the Vikings are playing five more games against teams that if they look past any of them, they will bite them on the ass.

so you can spare me with the whole breakdown of the schedule. You can't fault a team for winning games on their schedule...but for some reason people like to do that to bring a team down. .
So you're trying to say the quality of opponent has no effect on a teams record? I'm not bringing trying to bring them down, they've been winning, but the quality of opponent definitely factors into it. To say otherwise is kind of naive. Or are you trying to say playing a team the quality of a Pittsburgh, SD, or NE every week is the same as playing the Lions, Browns, and Rams every week? It even goes down to the college level. That's why they factor in computer strength and took away the running up the score factor like when Florida was winning games 77-3 against SW North Missouri St A&I.

this is not CFB..there are not 100+ teams with 15 quality ones. this is the NFL. 32 teams with grown men who are the biggest, fastest, strongest athletes in the world. Minnesota is 10-1 because they have 2 Hof caliber players in their backfield still playing at a MVP caliber level. they have a beast offensive and defensive line. they have tormented most teams that they have played and showed up to every game to win. My point was that you cannot discount that. Now the rest of the teams in the NFC outside of the saints........you can look at games that the team decided not to show up. the cards have done this 3 times at home and it was ugly. that's why I would give the edge to the better team up to this point. obviously i would expect a cardinals fan to swing it their way...i would do the same for the cowboys. not trying to be naive by any means considering I did say the cards should be in position to win, but just giving a neutral opinion here.

So far this year I'd say the best D'Line would be the talented duo of Freeney & Mathis when healthy as they need no other help.

I think the Williams boys will be handled by our front 3 and Bridges is gonna be looking forward to playing jared allen this Sunday night. Not too sure about Levi yet but I'd say we run the ball better than you think to our left, right at jared allen.Or right by him. He's gonna get kickblocked out.

Greenway is gonna have to make a ton of tackles and Fitzgerald is gonna have a CAREER game against the old team he was the ball boy for.Dockett is gonna grab the lil' old man and show him what he has'nt seen in a while and it may just rattle his cage a little bit.I'd say two picks for favre and one fumble for AP. We'll win the turnover battle and the crowd will have a fieldday.Warner has been waiting for this game for a long time.Don't look for a slow start from our offense this week.

The vikings have'nt played a team like us this year.PERIOD!!!They have no way to prepare. We've played better than them already in a couple teams. If Shiancoe can't go,then they are in deep do do.

I guess we had to beat them WITH Shiancoe playing.Guess that leaves the vikes with NO excuses then.Where was Jared allen tonight? Under the Bridge.:D Kurt Warner got his FREAK ON BIGTIME!!!.He's just warming up for the more pressure games folks.Time for the ROAD WARRIORS next week in frisco. They are now tied with the seahags.LMAO:D:D

Great coaching on both sides of the ball tonight. We finally employed the patriots scheme of pass blocking. It worked.Warner no sacks.Just a few big cheap hits.Especially after Henderson got blown up. Warner ties only Johnny Unitas as two qb's with at least 127% passer rating in four straight games.Shame Warner could'nt play last week.Next week he'll really go off. Then detroit and the lambs.Probably rest him vs the packers.Along with anyone else that is banged up.We'll probably play the packers in the first Playoff game as it is.

Now NFL Football graders.Who is the best teams out there today???The redskins missed a chipshot fieldgoal to lose to the saints. It would have to be the colts.Maybe we get our rematch in Miami.I'd LOVE IT!!!!:D

What do you say now? The vikes did'nt show up? Is that gonna be your excuse for the awesome play and TEAM we saw TONIGHT? Warner had his 4th straight game over 127% as a passer, tieing only Johnny Unitas. Yet it was suppose to be the brett favre show right? He should of had 4 interceptions instead of only 2. This is the time when real teams start to play. The cowboys tanked, saints got a gift missed chip shot fg,whiners lost a must win game, steelers nosedived, patriots lost to the phins and might not make the playoffs if they continue down this road.

Even the texans got beat by the JAGS for goodness sakes. What you got to say for them?:D

Take it easy on him Doug, he's a Cowpie fan. Maybe they will do their annual December nosedive.

I have to eat crow big time! If the crowd was 30% Vikings fans I would be shocked. Way to represent Red Sea!

I was so thrilled and proud to see a sea of red during the telecast. I thought it was going to be an embarrassing split. Way to represent!

The Vikings are a very good team. If there is a rematch and Antoine Winfield is back and healthy and in the Metrodome, it will be a much tougher assignment, even without E.J. Henderson. Next game, Jared Allen will be doing a lot more stunts, not matching up one-on-one with our left tackle IMO. That said, I like the Cardinals chances when they keep a tight end and THT in for protection against 4 or 5-man rushes and turn loose Q, Larry, and Steve loose.
