Villareal & The Starting Rotation

With the D-backs saying they are pretty much done dealing, except for around the edges and filling in spots, our rotation doesn't look so good. Villareal might jump into one of the open starting spots. My only concern with Oscar is he threw 86 games last year. A rookie record. That worries me because Mike Koplove couldn't even get on the mound last year because of being over used in his rookie year the year before. So here is my prediction for the starting five:

1) Randy Johnson

2) Brandon Webb

3) Elmer Dessens

4) Casey Fossom

5) Oscar Villareal


Elmer does nothing for me. But he has experience. If Mike Goslig can prove he's ready I would gladly put him in there.

Interested to see what you guys think our rotation will be.

I think Rosario during Spring Training will shock everyone and make the jump into the Dbacks rotation.... If not, I am certain that the Dbacks might also invite a middle-tier veteran pitcher to Spring Training for an audition....

I am not a big fan of Dessens, because he lacks the necessary stamina for a starter......I just wish they had gotten more for Durazo than someone who only had 2 decent years.....

Thats awful i think were going to have no bench players and all Relievers if we have elmer casey and a reliever in the roto back to back
