This was a hallmark Cardinal game.
It was simply one to put into a wrapper and seal up for future generations so that this level of absolute ineptitude can truly be appreciated.
You can't script this kind of comedy of errors, trying to do so would just be cornball.
It is very predictable, the ending play of the game was humilitaing and completely fitting in the finest tradtion of losing that we have elevated to high art.
We are simply geniuses of losing, some people are math whizes, some few have changed the course of human history with the good kind of genius, we however have been blessed with a special offshoot of that phenomena that specializes in sucking out your lifeforce.
I want to congratulate the enitre team for it truly was a team effort, seldom in the history of sports have all facets of a team come together to weave such an unmitagated disaster such a masterpiece of losing, unspoiled by any hints of competence in any way.
That game was a work of losing art!!!
The style points on this loss are simply off the chart, which is supremely difficult to do.
Normal losses are pretty ho hum affairs, in those a team might even be dominated, the score may be 70 to zero and it would never approach the beauty of this gleaming turd.
No this one was a special one folks, it left nigh on hundreds of thousands of steaming fan hearts in the road for the merciful truck that squashed every playoff hope into squishy loser goo.
After the shock of this wears off, something that will suprisingly fast since for this team it's not really shocking but almost expected, people will see it for what it is, the perfect loss a punctuation mark standing hundreds of stories tall for all future Cardinal fans to see.
ABANDON HOPE ALL YE WHO ENTER HERE!!!
