It is time again to vote for the 321preps Athlete of the Week at 321preps.com and floridatoday.com.
The following athletes were nominated for their performances from March 24-29. You will find the ballot at the bottom of the page. Be sure to refresh if the poll isn't visible upon first loading. Voting will be open until noon on Thursday.
The last winner was Camryn McRoy of Holy Trinity track and field. Find a list of the 2024-25 winners at the bottom.
Coaches and athletic directors are invited to nominate athletes each week. E-mail the athlete's accomplishments for the previous Monday through Saturday to [email protected] by 10 a.m. each Monday.
Here are this week's nominees:
Berry went 7-for-11 at the plate last week in three Viera wins while adding a grand slam and a total of 12 RBIs.
Fredenburg placed first in the 285-pound weight class to win a NHSCA National Title. This is the first NHSCA title in Cocoa Beach's school history.
In the Commodores' win against Palm Bay last week, Jacobs finished with two home runs, five RBIs, two hits, and two runs. Jacobs also hit one home run to help Eau Gallie claim a win over Satellite.
Janke finished with one home run, four RBIs, two doubles and she went 5-for-5 at the plate to help the Cougars earn a win against Heritage last Thursday.
Parham placed first in the 100 meters (11.61) and 200 meters (23.87) at the Viera High School Invitational 2 last Friday. Parham is ranked in the state's top 10 in both events.
Smith struck out 11 batters in the Raiders' win over Space Coast last Wednesday. She also finished with eight strikeouts in a win against Sebastian River last Thursday.
Smith placed first in high jump (6'1.5), long jump (23'10.75), and triple jump (43'6) at the Astronaut Invitational 2025 last Friday. He is now tied for the third best long jump in the state this season.
In Viera's win over Cocoa Beach last Wednesday, Brown scored five goals to go along with four caused turnovers, four ground balls, and two draw control wins. Brown also reached 200 career goals.
Cataldo scored six goals and added one assists in Cocoa Beach's win over Edgewood last Tuesday. He also ended with five goals and two assists in a win against Windermere Prep last Friday.
