The Marquette recruit had 24 points and a game-high 12 rebounds in the Division 4 state semifinals on Thursday night against Cuba City.
The sophomore guard scored a team-leading 25 points in a 63-58 WIAA sectional semifinal win over Brookfield Central, and another team-best 30 points in a 71-59 win over Mount Horeb in the sectional final to lead the Trojans to the WIAA state tournament for the first time in program history.
The Ferris State recruit helped lead the Warriors to the Division 1 state title game after an eight-point, 18-rebound performance against conference rival and co-champion Arrowhead on Friday night.
The junior guard flirted with a triple-double in Friday’s Division 2 semifinals with 16 points, nine rebounds and nine assists, and then had 32 points in a triple-overtime victory over Edgewood in the title game.
The senior UW-Parkside commit led the Bulldogs in scoring and on the boards in sectional semifinal and sectional final wins last week. His 27 points and 15 boards paced Cedarburg in a 75-66 win over North Shore rival Slinger in the semifinal, which he followed with 25 points and 16 boards in the 86-69 win over Notre Dame to advance to the WIAA state tournament.
