Girls wrestling is growing throughout the nation and is becoming more popular every year in the Greater Savannah area.

This season, Richmond Hill, coached by Tony Dragon, fielded a team with 24 wrestlers on the squad as the Wildcats emerged as one of the top teams in Georgia by finishing fourth in the GHSA Dual Meet Tournament.

Jenkins also has a strong team and produced the only medalist from the Coastal Empire in the State Traditional Meet as Anaya Stringer took home a silver medal in the 170 pound weight class.

We recently published the 2025 All-Greater Savannah Girls Wrestling Team.

Here's a chance for readers to weigh in and select their top girls wrestler of the year in an open poll with no restrictions on the voting. The poll will close on Monday, March 31, at 11 a.m.

The poll is not related to the Coastal Empire High School Sports Awards Show, where the All-Greater Savannah girls and boys Wrestlers of the Year will be revealed on May 27 at the Johnny Mercer Theater.

Here are the candidates.
