So fans will get a vote in this year's voting. For obvious reasons (if not obvious, check the votes for recent All Star Games) I'm glad it's just one vote...

Anyway, just curious as to how you vote.

My picks are

1. LeBron James
2. Dwight Howard
3. Amar'e Stoudemire
4. Dirk Nowitzki
5. Kevin Durant

James is just heads and shoulders above the rest while Howard is impressive every time I see Orlando play.
Amar'e has turned up his game recently and might not deserve to be no 3, but a slight bit of homerism must be allowed. ;)
Dirk is clearly the best player on the Mavs and finally managed to improve on D to complement his offensive game.
I haven't seen too many games of the Thunder, but in each and every one I saw, Durant was outstanding and deserves no 5.

Any list that doesn't have Bryant in the top 5 isn't credible.

James
Bryant
Durant
Howard
Deron Williams

Amare should not even be in the conversation. Yes he has played fantastic for the past month. However, the real candidates have been playing at that level all year.

I will never vote for Kobe. I dont give a crap how well he performs. With that said:

James
Durant

Only two I feel are deserving of the MVP and will not be angry if either win it, as they deserve it.

Hard to argue that list really.

Disagree. He has played great all year, and out of this world since the all star break. Even then, it's hard to put him in the top 5 though.

There is only one name that should be applicable to this subject, and if this name is not unanimously selected it is either due to blind homerism or misplaced humor. The name is Lebron James.

Yours is rock solid. one thing that all of those guys have is a great supporting cast. but they are all superstar players that carry the weight of the world on their back for their teams moreso than other guys in the league. Too me howard definitely deserves to be in the mix, but until the magic go to him consistently with the game on the line I can't see him winning the MVP although his stats merit the award. No way amare should be top 5 unless someone has steve nash ahead of him.

my top 5:

1. James
2. Durant(would win it IMO if he wern't so young)
3. Bryant(not a dominant year though for the lakers like we thought it would be).
4. Howard(beast and controls the paint..cleveland fans better hope someone else takes them out. if not it will be deja vu)
5. Dirk(still a great closer that gets overlooked sometimes) He kind of reminds me of the way tim duncan was in his prime. Not the playing style, but the marketing factor. No one really talks him up like they do the other stars unless he is actually being shown live.
