It's time to vote for the Halifax Health Volusia-Flagler Athlete of the Week for the week of March 17-22. Athletes for all in-season sports are eligible.
Last week, Pine Ridge baseball player Chris Kable captured the honors, claiming 43.2% of the votes.
The News-Journal gathers nominees via email from coaches across the area. Coaches can email nominees to [email protected]. To round out the ballot, the News-Journal staff also picks athletes from scores and stats posted online.
Voting will close at 5 p.m. Saturday. Votes are restricted to once per device per hour.

Baseball
Nole Hemmerle, Flagler Palm Coast: Across wins over Timber Creek and Seminole, the junior went 5-for-8 at the plate with four RBIs.
Jacob Imhoff, Seabreeze: The sophomore blasted two home runs, collecting a game-high five RBIs in a win over North Florida Christian.
Tennis
Kayla Wheeler, Spruce Creek: The senior is 11-0 in singles this season after Line 2 victories over Riviera Prep and Doral. In No. 1 doubles, Wheeler holds a 10-3 record following wins over Immaculata-La Salle and Riviera Prep.
Ofelia Stout, Father Lopez: The junior picked up No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles victories over Mount Dora Christian, improving her records to 10-0 and 6-1 this season.
Track and Field
Angelina Stabile, Spruce Creek: The senior finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 3.3 meters at the Guy Thomas Memorial Classic.
Corinthians Watson, Flagler Palm Coast: The senior won the triple jump event with a mark of 12.85 meters at the East River Invitational. Watson also earned a second-place finish in the discus throw and a third-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles.
