Saturday night we hope to avoid our first ever 0-3 start playing the first road game of the 2004 season but then Carolina wants to remain undefeated----after having a winless 2003. This is the fifth match-up between Arizona & Carolina, Arizona is 4-0 against Carolina, including last season’s 62-22 win.

The Rattlers right now are the lowest scoring team in the AFL, averaging only 31.5 points per game. On the flipside, Carolina is the highest scoring team in the league, averaging 60.1 points per game.

The bright spot in the Rattlers slow start has been our new OS Siaha Burley. Through two games, Burley is fourth in the league in receptions (16), and fifth in receiving yards (208 ). He has caught four TD passes, and rushed for another, good for fifth in the league among non-kickers.

This will be the first time the Rattlers have started a season 0-2 since 1993, their second season in existence. That year, we were able to shake the slow start, go 7-5 and make the playoffs.
