It's just sad that you and your bros keep coming on here and giving commentary about how you guys are so much better than us. Donald of all people was here gloating the night of the game!

What?

Here's what I posted the night of the game:

http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/f7/congrats-to-lakers-congrats-to-suns-153064.html#post2251707

The main thing that I come away from this series with is the respect I have for Gentry. I liked him beforehand, I really love the guy right now. He's classy, smart, and a great coach. He coached at Phil's level, and the way he's built that Phoenix bench is a testament to great coaching and belief in his players...

I knew this would be a tough series...I felt this was a tough matchup for the Lakers.

If the Suns keep building a defensive core, they will continue to be a strong team in the West, and Dragic just might be a nice transition from Nash going forward.

Good series...heart attacks..Suns are not a team to ever feel safe having a lead on.

Yeah, I don't know how in the world you lived through that vicious gloating attack. :mulli:

Dragic = future starting pg for championship contender.
Sasha = 2nd tier 3 point shooter who constantly disappears. Everyone on the lakers hates him as well. Course he's jealous.

Dragic and Udrih are friends. They always talk on the Kings broadcast about how they go out for dinner together after the game.

Dragic must be friends with all of slovenia then.

If you read the slovenian comments on youtube they seem to be all against vujacic. I don't speak slovenian but i assume "vujacic je pussica" is not good.

Ah, yes Serbs vs. Croats - ethnic rivalries that span thousands of years.

Serbs are pretty much reviled throughout the former Yugoslavia; so I'm guessing that's Sasha's ethnic background (plus he's an obnoxious person to begin with).

Both of them have Serbian fathers and Slovenian mothers.
This is not ethnic, this is Sasha Vujacic getting dismissed from the National team in favor of Dragic. Juri Zdovc, a Slovenian basketball legend hates Vujacic because he is a douche, and being in Zdovc's doghouse automatically put him in the basketball community/ fans' doghouse.

I thought Bill Simmons had the best take on this:

FYI: Vujacic/Dragic is exempt from my "every NBA feud starts over a women or a card game" rule. You don't need a reason to hate Vujacic.

Even his teammates can't contain their disdain for him during a GAME:

And a couple of years ago, there were several videos of Kobe elbow blasting Vujacic on the bench during a game, but the NBA PR department has all but eradicated it...here's the best I could find of it:

any Laker fan who even begins to defend Sasha for... well... anything... has to be doing just because they're on a Suns message board. ALL of my friends who are Laker fans hate him... the coach hates him... HIS TEAMMATES hate and even HIS OWN COUNTRY hates him.

Come on Laker fans. Was it a flop? Maybe. But Sasha is a grade A moron.

Where have we done that?

As a mod I've banned plenty of trolls in the Suns' forum this postseason and I pretty much stay out of the game threads due to the sensitivity of the fans.

As for the Lakers being a better team - we were only 3 games better in the regular season - how much boasting can we do over that? Heck, the Suns were 4 games better than our next opponent - the Celtics.

I don't know why but I find it hypocritical for a Lakers fan to be a mod on an Arizona fan site.

Having said that I don't remember Brian being nasty or anything.

It balances out since I am a Cardinals, Coyotes, D-Backs, and a Sun Devils' fan (ASU grad).

I try to steer clear of the Suns board unless it is general discussion, or to weed out some trolls or post a Happy Birthday thread.

Posting in the game threads just freaks out the regulars in the forum. Heck, the posters attack fellow Suns fans so it is not just because of our being a fan of another team...it is the atmosphere of the board.

Do we have a Spurs fan mod here as well? We might as well complete the list of "rivalry" being a Suns' mod. :p

Just sad, Laker fans. Even the resident Laker fan that we all like and respect (LakeShowMan) hasn't appeared yet. I guess at least one fan knows the concept of sportsmanship and respect.

Suns suck, Lakers rule. ;)

Just kidding. I thought it was a great series, personally. Nash is an absolute beast, and a joy to watch play basketball. In fact, that Suns team as a whole was about as gritty and determined a bunch of guys, as I have ever seen wearing the Suns uniform. No lead was safe. Any lap in judgement or effort by the Lakers resulted in a 10-0 Suns run. That was what NBA playoff basketball is all about.

As for the Dragic-Vujacic episdoe, I was pissed at Sasha for breathing life into a solemn crowd. Sasha did a really nice job on Dragic in Game 5 in LA. However the way Dragic, the team, and the fans reacted to Sasha's unneccesary flagrant foul, I thought the Lakers were going to blow their chance to close it out. You could tell Kobe was pissed at him as well. Did Dragic flop? Hell yeah. That said, Sasha needs to show more control, which is part of the reason that he isn't getting much PT.

Anyway, I won't bore any of you with more of my thoughts. I know nerves are still raw this close after the end of the season. Just figured I'd slap up my 2 cents.

Today in NYC, I was playing on the court and this guy took a reverse layup and said "Goran Dragic" pretending to be him lol. I hope great things will come from Goran and if guys in NY are pretending to be Goran then you know he's becoming big!

Folks, Brian is impartial as they come on this board. He's been very fair. That's what you want in a mod. There should be no complaints.

That might be true, but you have to question the mental state of one who would use Mr. 'the not so cute' Kardashian as their avatar. :)

Exactly what I was thinking, TucsonDevil...

No, it's allright, honestly. We just hate the Lakers, the Spurs and the Jazz. We're Suns fans after all.

And again (like EJ says) I'm so excited about how Goran played in the playoffs this year. The last thing we need is more dissappearers.

Seriously Vujacic. "Low human being?" Best comeback I've ever heard, and Im in HIGH SCHOOL.

Plus for Dragic to have said all that stuff about his mother and family, he must have been speaking at the exact ratio of 20 wps. (words per second)

Go back to Slovenia, Sasha. And dont get bashed up while you're back there.

If you read his lips, it looked like he said "you suck" to Sasha. That was it ... then he got elbowed.
