They may still have...who knows. Like I said no biggie. It is more the general idea of using the media as a mouthpiece instead of having the balls to do it face to face.

Parcells has how many rings? Could care less about records...I want rings. Anything less is failure.

Well DG has cajones don't worry about that. He does things his way and he wins.

Parcells won 2 SBs one on a lucky FG miss so you could say he won 1 SB and Buffalo gave him one. Ditka won a SB too you want Ditka here? Remember what happened in N.O.

Now coach guarantees a ring - did Parcells win a ring anywhere but with the Giants - uh no. The best a coach can do if he is good like DG and Parcells is the chance to win a SB. That means enough regular season wins to make the playoffs. Once you get to the playoffs its a crapshoot - you need some luck to go through and get a ring. Since the modern FA/Cap system began the two best conference teams have never met in the SB. Unbelievable but true.

Denny is smart and is a motivator. The Cards are one of the worst franchise's in football. Denny will turn this franchise into a winner and he is not afraid to step on toes. He knows what he is doing regarding the players and the media. Once he has his team in place there will be no dirt in the media. I've never seen conflict in the paper between Denny and players; its kept in house. He is playing a game here on seeing who can step up.

LOL the dude must be from Minnesota he is right, everything was kept in house.

Of course in Minnesota the press turned on DG and had a prosecutorial attitude towards him. He used this to a create an us against the world mentalty thet served the team very well.

"Bert will be the starter, and Calvin will play right end.
I interpreted this to mean that Bert will start at RDE and Calvin will play right end - ergo Calvin will back up Berry.

I also either heard or read about Denny saying that Berry - playing wide on the right side within the new "under" scheme - will be a "3 down defensive end." In other words, he and Calvin aren't splitting downs.

Hey guys I told all of you that I am a Viking fan. (and new to the board) I retired and moved here from Minneapolis to Phoenix at the end of 2002. When Denny took the Cardinal head coaching job, I went out and bought season tickets as I know he will put an exciting and winning team on the field. I had season tickets for ten years in Minneapolis and am a big fan of Denny Green. I love pro football and since this is my new home would love to see the Cardinals do well. I'll certainly will be cheering for them!! Additionally, I'm not a board basher and will be happy to share and debate football talk with all. Who knows, I may be trading Viking purple for Cardinal red!! ( I think I already have)

A Viking fan who is also a DG fan that is rare indeed I think I have come across less then 3 on all of the internet. The majority hate him and the minority don't hate him but were happy he resigned. I am with the 3 I think he is great and the day he resigned the Vikes went into the tank.

DO NOT TRADE IN YOUR PURPLE!
They signed Winefield and have Cotrell as def. co-ordinator. The Vikes could pull a surprise.
Red and Tice will be gone eventually and THE PURPLE REIGN shall return!!!

You can have 2 favourite teams I do.

Welcome to the valley! We need more fans like you. Let go of the old and support the local team. I think it's great you bought tickets and look forward to meeting you at halftime.

PS- EVERYONE looks better in red!
