Sorry - it's not often I see my home town in the headlines, especially during the draft. WELCOME TIM HIGHTOWER.

Course, I'm really from the suburbs of Waldorf -- place called Rison. Rison used to have a population of 30. Not counting the dogs.

Is Waldorf, MD still stuck in 1987? I know it was as recently as 1999.

Weird place, Waldorf.

You only say that 'cause you've never seen La Plata.

For those in AZ, it's pronounced La Plate-ah, of which I'd have been more surprised if my Spanish teacher a few years earlier didn't tell me he grew up in San Jose (pronounced San Joe's) Illinois.

For truely pathetic, try ordering a Burreto anywhere east of the Mississippi. God I miss living in Arizona.

Go Cards!!!

Burrito's in Chicago aren't bad. But I hear ya.

What about San Peeedro in California. That one is funny.

I spent 12 yrs in PG County - Laurel, Clinton, College Park, & lastly Bowie. I missed the area for all of about 6 mos. I wouldn't move back there for all the money in the world. I'll take that back. For all the money in the world, I'd move back & live in Annapolis.
