Warmack wants to play for the Titans

“I’ve never been coached by an actual offensive lineman before,” Warmack said. “That alone will escalate my play to a phenomenal level. Most of my coaches played tight end. My offensive line coach in college played linebacker. They couldn’t really relate to what an offensive lineman does.

“They did a good job coaching me, but with [coach Mike Munchak and offensive line coach Bruce Matthews] it would be a whole ‘nother level of learning the position. I was more attracted to hearing those two guys being on the same team and to know that it was three hours away from my college. It would be like a dream come true for me.”

His dream of playing for a pair of Hall of Fame linemen hasn’t come true yet. And if he ends up being drafted by a team without a former offensive lineman coaching the offensive line, that first meeting could be a little awkward.

I still like Warmack but it would be awkard. I think we have some good coaches for the Oline. At least I have led to believe they are.

I'm guessing he'd have a similar answer for every team in the NFL. If someone from AZ asked him about playing here he'd do the same thing. That's how it is for every draft pick before the draft

Not an issue. Besides he'd still only be three hours away from his college here in AZ.

...he'd just have to fly instead of drive.

WEll, if the Titans want Warmack they can come get him...if you nomsayin..

I dont understand why draftees do that. Come out and say who they want to play for. Odds are, it wont happen + you just pidgeonholed yourself with your new team "oh yeah, yeah I know I said I wanted to be a PAcker, bUt I like being here too!"

Von Miller said he wanted the Cowboys to come get him, lol.

You'd think after going to college and playin football their entire lives these guys would understand how the draft works.

The Cards are drafting Warmack. They signed Kevin Garver just to make the big Guard feel at home. Why else would you hire a coach with only one year of experience that wasn't as a student/graduate assistant?

No big deal, just draft him. Let him know our guy has NFL experience and if he has a typical SEC education, just draw a map of the United States and put Arizona in between Tennessee and the Carolinas, problem solved.
