So, I'm very concerned with the utter lack of any kind of updates concerning our starting QB. Do we have any news on whether he's all right or not, whether he had a concussion or just concussion-like symptoms, and whether he'll play?

Okay, we can be smart (or dumb) donkeys about it, or we can get a real answer??? ;)

Of course I'd rather have Warner starting right now as it gives us the best chance to win at the moment. I'm confident enough that Matt, given a week of 1st team reps, could come in and do a decent enough job, but we need a high-powered offense this weekend.

I was about to ask about "Warner news," but figured (as others have said) that it is an opportunity for the team to force Tennessee to prepare for both QBs. It wouldn't make sense for the coaches to comment until Sunday morning just to appease us....

Yeah, but I haven't even heard that much! If they tell us 'game-time decision', then at least we know what's going on. As far as I've read, nothing has been reported, and I'm getting antsy over here!

Well, it seems like if you prepared for Warner and got Leinart you would be all set. Neither are mobile, and the only thing you might get from Leinart starting that you wouldn't get from Warner is we would run the ball more. So, personally, I don't see how there is a strategy there (in waiting to announce Warner's health).......yes, or no?

I agree that I'd prepare for Warner (if I were Tennessee, and take what you get with Matt), but the two really are quite a bit different. With Matty you blitz, blitz and blitz. With Warner, not so much - or he'll tear your azz up. With Matty you need to be prepared for left rolls and boot legs (affecting FS line-up, zone coverages, and etc.). And that's just the tip of the ice berg when comparing the tendancies of the two.

Yup. No way Whiz is going to say a thing about Warner's brain until he has to. Let Tennessee figure out how and for whom they are going to prepare.

We won't even know till the tests are run very early this morning "IF" it was even a concussion or not.I think it was a pinched nerve myself.Warner will be very hard to keep tied down this week.I sure hope this is a joke.If not, could you please provide a link?

I like somers.I just find this announcement to be VERY premature, without having any facts to back it up.We're in a very tight race, even though its 3 games due to the face to face matchup on MNF.

I'd think we try to win every game we can this year.Plus making Warner sit if he feels okay to play would be kinda hard and I think could mess with the team chemistry.I just don't see Whiz doing that.

Please provide a link if you could.I knew Warner was gonna practice today from Urbans blog yesterday. So why would he even do that if he's gonna take snaps away from Matt who needs every snap he can get? I'm just not getting it.I think Warner starts myself.:)
