More likely to Minny. Warner in Soldier Field in ten below, not gonna happen.

Come on now.

Exactly. He would be playing 13 games outside if he signed with Chicago. 8 in Chicago, Green Bay, San Francisco, Seattle, Baltimore & Cincinnati

yes, Bears fans speculating on what the management SHOULD do is clearly relevant.

If Warner is not re-signed by the Cards i will rescind my short tenure in the world of Cards fandom.

The Bears have spent the least amount of money on their QB position in the time Jerry Angelo has been GM.

Bringing in Warner goes against everything they do. If it is McNabb, maybe. Warner? No way.

Oh boy. This team probably isn't for you. This team doesn't sign someone you think it should resign every year.

I'm hoping KW retires next year.

They have invested more time in more poop than any team insofar as qb's.

OT: If Orton had just "average" WR's the Bears win 11 game this past year....Angelo will never draft a WR in round 1.

McNabb ain't leavin' Philly.

If they fix the receivers and not the defense, still no playoffs for the Bears.

And through the posts of yours today talking about how this is the first year you have given a s*&t about the team (because they are winning) I am not all that concerned about you packing up.

Im cheering for you and get it done next week Kurt but unless we are in the Super Bowl in two weeks....

Whereever Warner was to go IF he were to leave , it would be starting all over. I think Warner would rather stay here or retire.

If we were to trade Leinart we would weaken the position but I'm assuming we would get a #1 in return. We would have to spend that #1 on a QB with the thought of grooming him for a year or two. I can't see the Cards brass spending money on another QB prospect.

If we didn't draft a QB , we would have to lure a free agent that has some kind of upside that could step in a year or two or should Warner get hurt. Could a guy like Derek Anderson be had and would he be up to our standards? I think I would rather go that route. Cleveland picked him up on waivers and are obviously going to go with Quinn. He's a big kid and had a great year with the Browns 2 years ago.
But would he really be any better than Leinart?

Who is this Gonad guy and why do we care about the bandwagoners? I wish the cowpukes and cheatriots could get their act back together so the fairweatherers would stay out of here. We're looking for diehards.

I'm sure you wont be the only one to do that, and the rest of us continue to not care.

This article is pure speculation and is also misleading when they say that contract talks have "not progressed" between the Cardinals and Warner.

Kurt has stated clearly that he doesn't even know what he'll do after this year and both he and the Cardinals agreed to put talks on hold until after this season is over.

Even with that in mind, Rod Graves continues to say just about every week that he's "optimisitic" that they'll work something out which is just his way of letting Kurt know they are all about keeping him.

Even if he left, there's no way Warner goes to Chicago. Like the above posters said, KW in that weather? Not happening.

The receivers in Chicago are so craptastic, why would Warner ever consider it?

Chicago Tribune. The same paper that convinces the masses in Chicago that the Cubs will win the Series whenever they are in first place in June.

Isn't it odd that an Iowa kid would have so much trouble in the cold?
