In case you missed the postscript at the end of the quote (like I almost did), this is what Darren Urban is saying - i.e. he doesn't know where ESPN got that info and it hasn't been corroborated. If Kurt (who has had ball-protection issues in the past) can't squeeze the football due to his injury, my guess is that they'll sit him."There is an ESPN report out that says Kurt Warner will miss a week with his bad elbow. I'm not sure exactly where that is coming from, since coach Ken Whisenhunt specifically did not put any time frame on the injury out there and Warner was not available for interviews today. But I will say that it should probably say at least one week. It's unlikely Warner won't miss any time, but to say he will definitely only miss a single game is probably a little presumptuous at this point."

On the other hand, if he can squeeze the ball and can stand the pain, he could very well either start or he could back up Rattay.
