To me, Kurt's comments about Haley, how easier it would be to return if Anquan remained with the team, waiting for a sign from God.... etc sounds as if he has already made the decision. It sounds like he's going to retire and is going through the emotional justification. He seems to be commenting on the "negative" aspects of the offseason and not any of the perceived positives.

If I were in his position, I would not want to lose my offensive coordinator and my #2 WR and try to mount another run at the playoffs during my swan song.

Here is why I think he comes back (In reverse order);

1. He has Fitz and others in the WR stable.
2. $18M
3. He has an enormous platform to share his faith.

He already has a sign. Unfinished business needs to be finished. I figure if the Lord was through with Kurt on the football stage and was ready for him to go in a new direction, the Cards and Kurt would have won the game. Therefore it must be the Lord's will for Kurt to return and finish his career with a SB win next year. At least that's what I would tell Kurt if he asked me what I thought......

I guess the Lord also told him the front office needs to take care of Q. With all the trouble in the world its good to see God still cares about football.

Yeah, it is a little wierd for him to say that he needs to consult with God, and that Q and Haley will have a bearing on the decision. So if God says come back, what will he say, "Thanks for the input God. I will take that into consideration when I find out if Anquan comes back." I'm not religious so who knows.

Kurt's coming back, this I dont doubt for a minute. I dont blame him for trying to throw his weight around a bit and get Q and Haley to stay, I would too.
