It's interesting the Suns may have plans for Granger later in the season or next season.

* Danny Granger joined the Suns for the first time Monday since being traded to Phoenix in the Goran Dragic trade on Feb. 19.

Suns trade history: Notable deals in franchise history

Granger had explored the option of taking a buyout and signing with a contender by the March 1 deadline. The plan is for Granger to work with the Suns athletic trainers to help his knee, which had two surgeries, and the imbalances it causes. Granger was encouraged by what the Suns staff did for Grant Hill and already was building a home in Paradise Valley for retirement, which he is not planning to do yet.

Granger has a $2.1 million player option for next season but Hornacek did not rule out using Granger late in the same if he is ready to play and the Suns are still in a playoff race. There will be more from Granger later on azcentral.com.

His uniform number will be 22.

If I was the Suns, my plan would be to pray for Granger declining his player option and signing elsewhere which would free up 2 mil. more cap room next summer for the Suns.

No doubt but the Suns probably want to kick the tires in case he picks up his player option. Maybe the Suns medical staff can work some miracles.

Well let's hope the Suns can show some fight tonight, and that Len can stay out of foul trouble.

Bledsoe usually plays well against tough backcourt competition, so let's hope he is fired up.

If we get off to a slow start tonight though, this is going to be really ugly.

Only down 6, but Warriors can blow this open real quick.

Len sure is doing a nice job on Bogut and neutralizing him.

We focused our offensive game around Wright. Not a good idea.

Suns pull w/n 5 on a nice hoop by TJ. Great job pushing it by Knight

David Stockton is playing well for the Kings D-League team. I don't know if the Suns could pick him up or how that works. He was on the Suns summer league team.

Pretty impressive defensive performance by the Suns the last several minutes. They have been focusing on not allowing the 3's, and were giving up a lot of layups for a while, but they have clamped down. It really helps having Len in.

Bledsoe throws and ultra hard bounce pass to Len's knees.

Great rally to tie up the game at the half, 46-46.

Suns finish the half on a 9-0 run, including 5 or so by Bled, nice save by Tucker, and we are all tied up at the half folks

Really surprised that we're keeping up with them so far.

The Suns need to find a way to get TJ Warren in the game for more minutes. I don't care what position as long as they play him.

If the Suns can slow Draymond Green (as they did in the first half) they have a chance to win although it will be hard if Knight does not return.
