Since the Suns all of the sudden became self-aware of the hole they dug themselves into they have gone into a 6 game losing streak. Let it end already.

The Warriors being favored by 7.5 is a joke.

Golden State is the hottest team in the league since the all-star break, we've been one of the worst, we're awful at defending offenses with lots of ball movement, KD is out, Beal is in, KD rejected a trade to Golden State at the deadline and the only reason they exist in this deadly for is thanks to it... and I am sure his "rejection" of them will be a hot topic on and off the court for the players.

This line should have us as one of the heaviest home dogs of the season... something like Golden State -16... and that is still too small, but NBA lines generally don't get much bigger.

I will guess... Warriors 128 Suns 98.

Ball movement and poor rotations to 3 point shooters? 7.5 seems generous to the Suns against GS.

I wanted Butler so bad.
I didn't. I still think he'd have been a bad match in Phoenix although I did like the deal for GS. I wish we had someone like him though, someone a little younger that could help shape the attitude of this squad going forward. We've just too many weaknesses for a quick fix like Jimmy could bring IMO.

Butler playing with bona-fide winners like Steph and Dray makes total sense. Playing with losers like KD and Booker would probably have been a disaster.

At this point, why not sit Durant for the rest of the season?

I understand the view on his age but he was an older rookie when he broke into the league and doesn't have the same amount of miles on him as most others his age. He's 36 but been in the league 14 years. The package we would have received would have been worth it, IMO.

Oh well. Now we get our fate sealed for this season by Jimmy.

I'm not sure about the package we would have received but my concerns had more to do with our roster than Jimmy although his age is an issue. I just think this team and its culture are so flawed that no single player is going to make that much of a difference.

Because KD wants that All NBA placement. I kind of hope he returns and doesn't earn the nomination. He's not deserving, IMO. Empty stats on a bad team.
