I never thought LSH was on the bubble but i found it curious he got so many carries for such a small back while Alfonso Smith sat. It made me think they were evaluating LSH.

Does anyone know if Alfonso Smith was injured? They might battle for the last RB position. It seems almost certain the Cardinals plan to bring in another RB.

LSH was also getting a lot of carries while Ryan Williams sat last week. The coaches are looking at something with Hyphen but I haven't seen anyone indicate what it might be.

People forget that his greatest asset to the team is on special teams, but not as a returner. His production as a gunner on the coverage units last year was ridiculous and PB worthy.

Going into last night's game I thought that LSH might have to show something in order to make the team. Consider that, in effect, the League did away with his job. And while he's considered a 3rd down back, his size doesn't lend itself to him being an effective pass blocker. But I'm guessing that with us having almost no depth at the RB position, and his running performance vs. the Chargers, along with the receiving TD, pretty much sewed up a spot on the "53". At least I hope so.

Was LSH on the Bubble?

No.

Yup. And he's the Antrel Rolle gimmick player for the offense. Even with Ryan Williams in the fold, you need a guy like LSH. I'm not sure why he's not on the coverage teams right now; he was exceptional in that role last year.
That's one thing more about losing Williams that sucks.
My wish-list gunners?
Daryl Washington and LSH.
LSH was the reason they almost won that Titans game last season. Shoulda beens, I know.

Marshay Green did well last season as a gunner. I haven't watched the punt coverage very closely so don't know if he's been used there this pre season. Marshay is small but he isn't afraid to hit people.

Too bad he's looked sort of lost out there in coverage so far.

I don't really care about Washington as a gunner; I'd prefer him to be focusing on his defensive responsibilities. I thought that Mike Adams was an adequate gunner the last couple of years.
