WATCH: DeVonta Smith eloquently breaks down his relationship with QB Jalen Hurts

DeVonta Smith and Jalen Hurts have built a bond that started at Alabama and intensified when the Louisiana native joined his former college quarterback on the Philadelphia Eagles. Smith has firmly established himself as one of the top wide receivers in the NFL, and he's in rare form.

Smith won two national championships at Alabama before being selected by the Eagles tenth overall in the 2021 NFL draft. Last season, his fourth in Philadelphia, Smith won Super Bowl LIX, becoming the fifth football player to win the Super Bowl, a college national title, and the Heisman Trophy.

Smith is starting to emerge from his shell. He appeared on '7PM in Brooklyn' with Carmelo Anthony and Kazeem Famuyide. When asked about his relationship with Jalen Hurts, Smith said this about his quarterback.

Last season, Smith posted a career-high eight touchdowns in the regular season and hauled in a 46-yard touchdown in Super Bowl LIX. During the playoffs, Smith became the franchise’s all-time leader in postseason receiving yards (595)
