There wasn't a LB competetion when Jake competed. If our RB was awake like the wr on the Vikes was when Randy Moss did the same thing as Jake did it could have been a great play. But it wasn't as you so for cheap shots.

No, a pass like that even when completed would never be considered a great play. It would just be lucky if it worked. Any coach will tell you that. It's not worth the risk.

If McCowns backwards pass somehow worked and got us a first down, would you consider that a great play or a lucky one? :confused:

All QBs make stupid plays, we just enjoy making fun of those plays (like Drew Bledsoe's blind sky hook shot for an interception). I don't think Jake is a terrible QB though. Just passes like that aren't worth the risk. Proper mechanics... it's an important thing :thumbup:
