I wonder if Morey's concussions had anything to do with us letting him go. He was a special team player that is hard to find. Good luck to him.

Glad Morey's gone. Has to many head problems and was quite frankly WAY overrated last season. His play dropped dramatically.

Agreed. I'd rather see the spot used on a younger player, one with more potential.

LSH.

He is a special teams monster, and can return kicks, and be effective out of the backfield.

I stand by my statement that LaRod Stevens-Howling was the biggest steal in the draft for the Cardinals last year.

He already had a roster spot. I meant a late round draft pick, or a player like Onrea Jones etc.

Morey was a great STer for his time here, but it looks like his concussions sealed his fate on our team...

I'm surprised Morey left- he just bought a house right next to Coach Whis' place.

Sean Morey was an excellent signing for us...I wish him well. His blocked punt versus the Cowboys will be forever etched on my mind and epitomizes him as a Cardinal.

Because the team has a number of very good STs players now, and that Q is gone and need added depth at WR, it was time to move on.

So long Morey, I'll always remember Patrick Willis running you down when you had about a 30 yard head start. I remembered that as one of the many horrendous losses that year, and looked back to see what happened. A funny quote, reminiscent of Whis covering Rackers ass last year...

"Rackers initially lined up for a 27-yard try, and kicked it through the uprights. But a delay-of-game penalty nullified the kick and pushed Rackers 5 yards back, where he hooked his attempt just to the left of the upright.

"The clock ran out fast," Whisenhunt said. "That's my fault. I take full responsibility for that. I thought we had time. It wasn't any different than normal. Obviously, I should have called a timeout there.""

Wasn't that the game we lost in OT, on a Warner strip fumble TD after Morey got caught & Rackers missed the winning FG?

By whom?

As I recall, many posters thought Morey was on the bubble during TC last year.
