It's the little things that matter. Sometimes the big things are more for show.
They put up a tiny home village for the homeless here and it is usually empty. Most of the homeless population doesn't want the help. They refuse to follow the rules required to live within the community (i.e. no drugs/alcohol), so the place is minimally used.

That's the whole point, he did not have to do this. There was no need to go passive aggressive on D-hop in your opening statement about it being nice, 'but'... I think the opinion of the poor person getting the bottle of water is what you should focus on regardless of the media noticing it or not

Again, the point is not why to the person getting the water. Heck, it might even prompt other guys to do it for PR, but the results are the same and that is someone getting some water, so the 'why' becomes irrelevant

Cardpa, that's getting a little dangerous good brother. Far be it for ANY of us to tell another man what to do with his money. There are billionaires who wouldn't so much as spit on the common man if he were on fire. He's doing something from the kindness of his heart when he could be lounging in his mansion's pool or eating steak and shrimp under the air conditioning. There really should be nothing negative to say about this good gesture.

I never understood why people have a problem with celebrities posting good deeds. Not every act is a self-serving one. Sometimes people with means, and even people without, can see that and say to themselves "I need to do something good as well". If it prompts someone else, rich or not, to do something positive, I'm all for it!

I'm not sure. I don't do a LOT of social media, but I do pay attention to most things Cardinals. I would think the team would either feature or retweet this on their official Twitter.

It was originally posted to his IG. IMO it would be dumb for these celebrities to not post this stuff on their social media because it usually prompts other people to follow suit and do similar good deeds. Sure there is something noble about doing it without any recognition, but you may end up making a smaller impact in the process.

Uh, any of us could have. How many did? He did. He didn’t have to. Give him credit. Also, I’m willing to bet a guy that does that does a ton of stuff we don’t know about. This is a silly thing to criticize a lot later about - literally a good deed.
