Actually, Washington had 9 for 63 and the Cards had 9 for 67 so pretty even.

Nah a few cheap ones in the last few minutes against the skins to make it look balanced, it was not balanced! Their Oline held all day long it was ridiculous!

One of the worst Cards games I've ever watched in my 48 yrs of watching this team.

This probably wouldn’t crack me and @WisconsinCard top 10 of azzkicking games we’ve attended if we were there. And even I’m embarrassed today explanning how AD ran up and down the field on us while Alex Smith didn’t have to throw a ball further than 5 yards to dismantle us :bang:

44-7 for ATL I thought and you forgot GB 56-24 and MN 28-0 after the first quarter when McNabb was the qb lol

Wasn’t in my top five beat downs. There were times where we went to the drinking lot slightly before half time to only stay there for the rest of the beating.

MN dismantle us at will.

In the game of football, at any level, there is nothing worse than getting the ball run down your throat.

Preseason and this first game seemed to highlight the Cardinals thinking that Bradford should not be put in situations that could aggrivate his past knee and leg problems. That is a recipe for disaster. He must play without regard to his past injuries or retire. Aaron Rogers was hurt in the Packers -Bear game yesterday but he came back and played his usual active game. Protecting Bradford cannot be the first priority of the offense.

Looks like BA was the smart one.

BA is part of the reason we're in this mess. He wasn't as SK's mercy, BA had carte blanche in many respects to staffing the team. If it were SK who was pulling all the personnel strings then why isn't Stanton still hear, why did we cut TM instead of paying him the stupid money we couldn't resist giving him before he played a healthy snap? BA was made sure certain players stuck around and got paid whether or not it hurt the team because there were better players available or better allocations of the cap.

SK clearly is not a good GM, I give you that. He drafts like crap, he lets our best defensive talent slip away to pay guys who don't perform, it's just a mess. But BA also had a hand, and in some cases was the driving force in a lot of the bad decisions also.

I was in Giants Stadium the day the Cards fell behind 34-0 against the Jets. The game where Favre threw 6 TD passes. But at least the Cards put up a fight in that game. Horrible first half but outscored the Jets in the 2nd half 35-22. That was the game where Q was almost killed.

Comment of the day. We just draft safties and make them gain weight to play linebacker. It's worked so well so far lol
As i just mentioned in this other thread... it really DID work for a couple of years. Whether Bucannon has lost it, the new coaching staff can't figure out how to use him or teach him how to play in their D, or the league just caught up... i dunno, but it sure sucks!

Not even close for me

49-0 at KC
44-6 at Cleveland
44 - ? At Atlanta

And that is just games I traveled to.

Last year the 33-0 fiasco in London where I attended was the worst live game I saw.

Remember the 58-0 thrashing by Seattle. Watched it in a sports bar. People coming up to me trying to console me. Also they were asking me why I stayed watching the game. Said I wanted to see how bad the score would actually be.

This game wasn't even in the top 5 of worst plays of the last 5 years ... gosh ... how fast are you forgetting ...

The London game last year? The game against Carolina in the NFC Championship? The game against Seattle? gosh ...

But yes, the game wasn't nice, the D isn't working and the HC makes some headscratchers... but we will know more next week. Can McCoy call a good game? Can Wilks prepare the team and so on...

Even if Keim and Wilks in theorie should be safe for this year, I'm sure that Mike doesn't like a 24-6 whipping and for sure doesn't accept 2-3 high blow outs ...

Imho...this loss is waaaaay more bad due to the way we came out of the gate. I seen all those horrible ass-drillings for 30 years...but this one stinks for me most simply because it was a home opener on OPENING DAY with a new regime. In other words...I could take the loss...but the way they were so flat and unprepared and just a freaking mess...is really disappointing on so many levels. Anyways.....

The team was a large smelly pile of dung Sunday. If we weren't aware that this team was practicing for weeks beforehand you would have thought someone just put this team together Sunday morning and told them to go out and play a game and see how you make out.

yeah... the opening day, new regime, at home utter ass-kicking is what stung the most about this.

Thinking back to Bruce, Wiz and even Denny, all of their first games were on the road and at least the teams looked like teams. Bruce and Wiz had 4th quarter road leads and Denny went into a tough Rams home coming off arguably the worst season ever with Coach Mac and only lost by 7 (if anyone remembers, we were losing by 30 consistently on the road the previous season).

This team just looked like warmed up garbage from the freaking dump and did so right out of the gate. That was alarming.
