(HoopsHype also lists someone named Ernest Brown)
IIRC, Ernest Brown is a young center who's bounced around a lot since coming out of high school. Went to college, then went to community college (Indian Hills) and actually considered coming to ASU before deciding to go pro. He's been all over the continguous US since then. Probably a CBA addition last year at some point.

Brown is 7-foot, approx. 235/240, very good athleticism. Don't know anything else about him, and I don't think that's a good thing.

i think Gad's quote just about kills this idea.

this idea was dead to begin with. It made no sense for the Rockets. It made little sense for the Boston Celtics. The only team it really helped was the Phoenix Suns.

BTW if Chris Mihm was to get significant minutes with the Suns his numbers would be good enough to get him a joke of a contract next summer. That is, of course, assuming there isn't a league shutdown.

Actually I think Mihm may be targeted if Q doesn't come to the Suns. The Celtics cannot keep all the players they have under contract. If summer league is any indication, they may decide to focus on developing Jefferson than to hanging onto Mihm.

the Boston Celtics will match a reasonable offer for Chris Mihm. I'm sure of it. If he was a guard things might be different. There is a dearth of big men in the NBA.

In another thread, I suggested that trading the rights to Vujanic might be enough to get Mihm. The Celtics have a lot of long term contracts and aren't likely to want to sign Mihm to one. He only played 17.5 minutes a game last season and their team is close to being over the luxury tax line.

This ties into their likely plan of trading Michael Stewart to a team looking for an expiring contract (he makes $4.8 million). Stewart is only valuable to a team that wants to get reduce their payroll next year, so the Celtics would need to be in position to take on a longer contract. Signing Mihm to a longer contract makes that much harder.

In any case, it is hard to figure out what Aigne is doing so expecting a rational plan is probably a mistake.
