Nice win. No quit in this team. Didn't fold after the pick six.

Congrats to Arians on his first win as coach of the Big Red....

I must admit I didn't think the Cardinals had a TD left in them in the final minutes. Glad I was wrong. I was thinking it would come down to another FG attempt by Feely... who was sensational today.

This is two weeks in a row that we have played better than I expected. If they keep this up I might start "expecting" them to win a game. They'll just rip my heart out if I start expecting something from them but that's life as a Cards fan.

Too true. It's kinda of weird for me this year because you have influenced me enough to think the Cards simply won't win any games. I'm at peace with a loss with the opening kick off.

For this I must thank you because I'm far less stressed watching them this year. :D

Every Player on this team can walk tall this week. Our D while never great was there every down and the offense without number 11 was a times scary but always in the game. Rookie of the game #38 this kid has got IT!

Hey, it's helping me too. Even my cats appreciate this new mellower version of me. I was still bummed after the loss to the Rams but it wasn't the crushing blow it would have been if I'd had high expectations. It's obvious we'll never win another game but at least I'll always have this win to think back on when times get tough.

Now this makes me sad. I don't know that I can trust a cat person with my FB psyche.

To your point at least we will always have the Lions win to get us through the season.

First two games tell me that we're not yet a VG team. But we're not bad either. When we get Housler and Larry playing we should have a VG offense, and our two rookie safeties are great ballhawks, who know how to tackle. We might finish as high as 8-8 but will, imo, be a fun team to watch.

'Yeah buddy' as BA would say. I loved TJ's second-half tackle of Reggie Bush in the Lion backfield. He grabbed a leg and hung on for dear life. :)

Thank you NFL for sending us the Lions who haven't won in Arizona since 1993. They always come in and make us feel better about our lovable losers.

Yeah it is perplexing how they've been so bad with all the talent they have. It has to be the coaching. Watching the way they let that game get away from them reminded me alot of past Cardinals games. Having the lead going into the 4th quarter, instead of running the ball, throwing every play for 3 and outs, then before you know it, the game's slipped away. Thank God we have coaches that know how to close a game. I don't think they're going to let us lose games the way we're used to seeing.

Great open field tackle to seal the game. Play of the game, IMO, even if Peterson's pass/catch combo is getting a lot of attention.

A Hell of A Bad Team

Cowherd just called us "A Hell of A Bad Team". Before you start making angry calls, he meant it as a complement.

He was talking about parity in the NFL and said 9-7 might be enough to win several divisions...except the NFC West.

He said with SF, SEA, and even STL, AZ is considered the worst of the 4. "That's a hell of a bad team!!!" with their three terrific receivers, a young and dynamic defense, etc.

Very complimentary of the Cardinals, but its a funny way of putting it. :D

Another Cowherd Quote

In the "Where Colin was Wrong" segment, he gives the Cards more props.

He said before the season started, he had the Cards as a 5-11 team. He is already calling himself out for being wrong.

"This is a really good team and they are going to win a lot of games."

Thinks Carson Palmer makes this team relevant, even with some of the tread off the tires.

I forgot i just had my hip replaced a couple days before the game. I got so excited when we scored the final TD i tried to jump up out of bed and fell flat on my face and peed all over myself and my hospital gown. Go Cards!
