Weather Thanksgiving Night

It has been colder than nuts here in the northeast. We are in a midwinter cold snap and that pattern is forecast to hold in the coming couple of weeks. Game time temps should be in the 20's or low 30's. Any precip. Would probably be snow if there is any. The Cards better find their running game in a hurry. At least it will be good experience for the NFC Championship game @ the Meadowlands.

was thinking abouth this the other day...how cold can the air con in UoP go? ie its all very well dunking wet balls etc but the feel for the cold is needed.

I'll be at the game....almost got talked out of wearing my jersey...due to the abuse I've read about...having beer dumped on, food thrown at...and overall rude behavior.

I'll deal with it...I might tell my wife to wear something neutral...as I'll lose it if someone tosses a drink on her.

It's going to be cold no matter how you look at it...I hope we are not sitting in a snow storm...as it'll be tough to see the players and we'll be freezing our rear off.

Just checked the Thanksgiving Day forecast- mostly sunny high in the upper 40s. Even with some cool down in the early evening, I'll take it.

OTOH, it would be too mild for Neon Deion. It's kind of fun seeing him freezing to death on the NFLN set.

It's not geography, it's the internal clock. When they play three hours early, they turn the ball over. Hopefully by the time they have to travel east in the playoffs, it will be all afternoon games.

i have seen the cards at candlestick against the niner fans who were very respectful with just some good natured ribbing nothing thrown at me or threats of violence

Exactly. More importantly, if they take care of buisness at home Sunday and avoid turning the ball over (or giving up points due to stupid penalties at the exact wrong time) in Philly, they probably won't see any AM games in the east come playoff time.

FWIW, I went to an Eagles-Cards game SOLO back during the Vet days. I didn't get any hassle as a woman, but I didn't wear a jersey, only a red shirt. I also sat in the lower level, not higher up.

I think it's gotten better. Having a court, judge and jail at your stadium helps to combat idiocy.

ARZ, please be careful. Luckily a lot of things have changed since there was a jail in the basement, but the fans are still the fans. I really do wish I was going, but the 8pm start was just too much for me to fight with given all the time those clowns will have to get liquored up. My wife just wasn't having it.
