I want to put a small website together. Are there any free website hosting or very cheap hosting sites. I can build it my self but Cox will not let me host one because they are jerks

Cox gives you webspace free with your account. I have web pages up there, but it has to be like members.cox.net/yourusername. They don't do domains like sweetd.com like a web hosting provider would.

That's true I could do that since it is just for fun. I think I tryed to do that once but couldn't get it to work. Do you have to do one of there templets or can I design it my self.

Any standard html file will work - didn't even know they had templates now.

Make your page, and upload it using FTP and you're set.
