Great update, many thanks!!!

1. J. Peppers, CAR
2. M. Strahan, NYG
3. L. Little, STL
4. M. Williams, HOU
Rounding off the Top 10 are guys like Chris Kelsay (BUF), maybe Greg Spires (TB). The problem with Chike is that he's small, and so you can run right at him, and you have to take him out on obvious run downs.

KVB?
Does Merriman qualify as LDE?
Does D. Ware?
I'm go out on a limb and say Mario Williams is a better pass rusher. I know he's big and disruptive against the run, but he can still rush better than Okeafor.
Udeze from Minn.
Heck, I'm not even sure all these guys are LDE. But they are just a few of the players that come to mind.
No way, no how, is Okeafor one of the "best" or "better" pass-rushing LDE's in the league.

kerouac9 said:Honestly, as one of the better pass-rushing LDEs in the NFL, Okeafor should be smoking Wakefield. It'll be interesting to see/hear how Wakefield handles run blocks.
kerouac9 said:Merriman and Ware are OLBs, so no, they don't qualify as DEs. I have Mario Williams on the list. He's Number 4.
Kenechi Udeze had 1 sack last season in 3 starts. His rookie year, he had 5 sacks in 16 starts. I like Udeze, but right now I think that Okeafor is a better player.
KVB's had one good full season in his career. At least Chike's consistent.
I checked. All my guys are LDEs. If you're going to call me out, then have some ideas to refute what I'm saying. I think that Adawalye Ungulele in Chicago is better than Chike. That's another obvious one.
BigDavis75 said:Ogunleye. Is this list just based on Pass rush skills. If so, we don't know as of yet how Mario Williams will translate to the NFL as a pass-rusher, especially in a D that uses a decent amount of 3-4 (see what it did to Shaun Ellis and his sack numbers).
