Jordan Palmer-footwork and mechanics have been off causing inaccurate throws.Strong arm.
Chris Leak- accuracy and reading defenses were issue. Good mobility in pocket.
Kenny Irons-cutting and slashing style. danced in the holes. nice runs on around the end. problems catching the ball.
Dwayne Bowe- terrific hands and consistently creates separation.smooth release and will fight for any ball near him. a red-zone threat.
Joe Staley-worked hard on pass set up getting coaches applause for perfect form.slides well and very athletic. should be able to play blind side in the NFL.
Justin Blalock-struggled. corrected numerous times by coaches. on zone blocks was not able to get his head across. better lateral movement but still slow.better at pass sets.
Arron Sears-very good practice. strong at the p.o.a. feet issues are subsiding. collapsed the side of the line on downblocks.
Ryan Kalil-quickness was again very evident.excelled in in recognition and reaching the 2nd level.lack of size is hurting him in being a true anchor in pass pro vs. the bigger tackles.
Quentin Moses-showed some strength at p.o.a. started using his long arms to his advantage. athletically limited and has struggled against superior talent.
Buster Davis-didn't distinguish himself is pass coverage.lacks skills in pursuit.
Earl Everett-did more chasing than playmaking
Rufus Alexander-solid session.looked explosive and made a number of plays on the ball.
Fred Bennett-poor job of re-directing players at the line.struggles in man to man.gets beat by double moves.ball skills are lacking.
Aaron Ross-had no new report on him ???????
Brandon Merriweather-shows terrific anticipation. read qb's eyes and makes break on ball at incredible speed.solid footwork and extremely aggressive going after a TO. He's a talker with no shortage on confidence.
Michael Griffin-physical player equally capable against the pass and run. dianoses plays quickly and looks to deliver the big hit i run defense. good discipline and a nose for the ball in pass defense.quickness leaves something to be desired.

Dameyion Hughes came up gimpy with a hamstring injury yesterday and is done for the Senior Bowl. The Combine is really important for him, so hopefully the injury won't linger. If it does, and he posts a shoddy 40, he may end up available for the Cards' second round selection.

People are comparing Tony Ugouh (sp), the LT from Arkansas, to Levi Jones. There's a kid from Central Michigan that is impressing a lot of people but might not be ready to play right away.

After Joe Thomas dropped out, there doesn't seem to be much to work with in Mobile this year.
