Indeed. Whenever it appears that another legend of the game is getting close to the end or does retire, it’s just a reminder that I’m getting older. When I see how old and feeble someone like Sonny Jurgenson has become, it brings back so many memories of watching him in his prime. I’m so happy that my Dad was into sports & that I started following all sports at a very young age (5).
I twinged my back unplugging a Shop-Vac the other day. SMH

Relax. It’s only week 1. Plenty of time for Zach Wilson to make me look like a genius.

P.s Jets won in spite of him not because of him
I'm as relaxed as I can be with my back hurting.

It was a poor excuse of a joke.

Sometimes that happens to me when I sneeze.
I have thrown out my back sneezing before. I am the type that violently sneezes though. My granddaughter thinks it is hilarious though, so there's that.

My bad I thought you were coming at me like Steve Young would.

I hope you feel better soon
Nah, I should have known better. It wasn't my intention to really go out there and say 'I told you so.' (which is how that comes across) I should have used more tact.

Thanks for the well wishes. I was good enough yesterday to have my 22 year old son beat me at bowling. Probably the first time that has happened. I'm going to blame the injury. Otherwise I'll feel even older.

I don't understand how neither Trey Lance nor Josh Rosen enter this conversation. Lance started four games in two seasons and was later traded. Josh Rosen started 16 games in two seasons and washed out of the NFL.

Zach Wilson has already contributed more than either of those guys to the team that drafted him. I don't understand how expansive the "bust" label is for so many of y'all.

A local sports radio guy just said he'd rather have Wentz than Zach.
I think you could make an argument for both players. It's like choosing between lima beans and cream corn.

It doesn’t take much as you age. Hope you’re back to 100%. A couple of years ago, I wiped out on some water going down cement steps into the basement. Luckily, I didn’t hit my head, but I had to take like a month off of bowling. Now, if you ask my wife, she’ll say I definitely hit my head. LOL.

I'm relatively healthy overall. I'm probably 70%.

Thanks for asking. I hope you are feeling better too.

Yeah it would be tough but Kyler definitely would have more of a shot than say the Giants. Giants OL is considered significantly worse than ours at every position except LT. Preseason OL rankings had our OL at 16 with the giants at 32.

Giants LT got hurt in the first drive vs. the Cowboys and they proceeded to give up a pressure every single snap of the game. One of the Giants OL had a PFF pass-block grade of 1. Cowboys D is damn good but they will not have another game like that, that was a perfect storm.
What gets me is that the Giants allegedly closed the gap and many picked them to beat Dallas. I don’t think that game was a fluke. Dallas has had games like that before against the giants and some others where they generate a lot pressure and score on defense and special teams, but they have improved a fair amount over a few seasons now. As far as the giants I think it is a terrible matchup problem for them when they play Dallas. I also think the weather made a difference, but the cowboys offense played in the same weather and they were able to move the football in the air and on the ground. The difference for the cowboys defense now in my opinion is the continuity and depth that they have on their defense at every position. Adding Gilmore was a massive upgrade for their secondary.
