Something I'd like to see the Cards do is hire a senior assistant on both sides of the ball. Someone with experience that's fallen through the cracks like Flores at the Steelers.
There are lots of guys out there with great experience that have fell out of favour.
Another thought I had was that teams have Pro personnel departments and college scouting departments. Why not a small Coaching talent department? There are something like 500 current coaches in the NFL and 1000+ in college. Why not have someone scouting them? Find the next Andy Reid, McVay etc before anyone else. Not only for when you're next looking for a HC but so that you're bringing in the best guys as assistants and coaches.
