That is pretty strange.

You are getting some kind of popup or is the mouse having a problem?

Maybe you could give us a little more detail on what is happening.

What browser? What OS?

Did your niece install any software?

First, find out what web sites she went to, because odds are that is what caused it, second, get something like adaware and run it, you can get some good trial stuff as downloads.com and third after she lies to you about the sites she wnet to, go the address bar and look at the last few.

Do a system restore from before she used the computer. It will wipe out all the annoying spyware that she has gotten added to your computer.

If you don't know how to do a system restore, click on start, then go to programs, then to accessories, then to system tools, and finally to system restore.

You will then be led to a prompt. You want to restore to an earlier point, so pick a day or two before your niece used the computer. Bam. virus/spyware gone.

Your computer might have been hijacked by hacker software. You can download a free program that will identify it and allow you to remove it so you can regain control of your computer.

just google: hijack this

and you will find a free download for your computer. I have used it several times.
